  If your WEICHAI Engine's exhaust system is emitting smoke, the color can indicate the issue. For gray-white smoke, increase the coolant temperature at the inlet of the engine, remove the exhaust pipe, or check the cylinder head and the compression pressure in the fuel injector or cylinder. If the smoke is gray-brown, reduce the load on the engine, check the fuel injector or replace the nozzle, and adjust the advance angle of fuel injection. For blue smoke, increase the coolant temperature at the inlet of the engine, prolong the running-in time, or repair the engine.

Operationally, ensure the starting pressure in the air bottle frequently stays at 2MPa, and before starting, crank the engine until any piston reaches 15 degrees after the TDC.
