  If your WEICHAI diesel engine won't start, begin by checking if the neutral position is engaged and ensure the parking switch is in the 'OFF' state. Verify the neutral switch and wiring are intact; if so, try the emergency start by pressing the ignition switch continuously for more than 5 seconds. Also, check if the battery voltage is excessively low, preventing the starter from working. Inspect the starter relay and its wiring for any damage, and confirm that the starter itself hasn't burnt out. Lastly, check the ignition and starting switches for any faults.

Check and clean the intercooler and verify its cooling capacity.

  If the rail pressure cannot be established in your WEICHAI engine (starter works but engine doesn't start), check if the fuel tank level is excessively low. Verify the hand pump is functioning correctly. Ensure there is no air in the low-pressure fuel way; if present, eliminate it. Inspect the high-pressure fuel way for any leakage. Check if the fuel way is smooth and whether the diesel fuel filter is blocked, replacing the filter element if needed. Check the rail pressure sensor for an initial voltage of about 500mV, and ensure the set rail pressure is 30-50 MPa. Finally, check if the flow measurement unit is intact; try unplugging its connectors and starting the engine again.
