Addition to function check
Addition to function check
For devices with software from version 4.15, the function check
deviates from the description in the current instructions for use.
To ensure that the device also starts reliably with battery operation,
the MEDUMAT Standard
2
function check is expanded to include
the following points:
• Disconnect the device from the line power.
• Switch on the device and perform the function check
as described in the instructions for use.
If the device is switched on with the line power connected, the
function check cannot be started. The following notice appears
on the device display:
• Follow the instructions on the display to perform the function
check.
Material damage from touching the contacts in the battery
compartment!
Touching the contacts and the ingress of liquids can damage
the device.
Only operate the device with the battery inserted.
Do not touch the contacts in the battery compartment.
Clean the battery compartment carefully so that no liquids
enter the device.
