CAUTION
Corrosion due to damaged protective layer
A protective layer (white coating) is formed in the fresh water storage tank by the
magnesium anode. A damaged protective layer can lead to corrosions.
Do not damage the protective layer:
do not mechanically clean the fresh water storage tank,
do not use abrasive cleaners.
Shut down the condensing unit.
Remove front panel.
Drain fresh water storage tank.
Remove flange insulation1.
Remove screws2 on inspection flange3.

Connect anode cable.
CAUTION
Corrosion due to missing anode cable
If the electrical connection of the anode to the steel wall is missing, no protective
layer is formed. A missing protective layer can lead to corrosions.
Connect anode cable.
Anode is connected to fresh water storage tank.
Refit front panel.
