Testing the sensor with the monitor
Use this procedure to test the monitor SpO
2
function while verifying a sensor.
1. Connect an SpO
2
sensor to the simulator optical finger and to the monitor.
2. Set the BioTek Index2 SpO
2
simulator as follows:
3. Wait for the monitor display to stabilize.
4. Verify an SpO
2
saturation level of 94 ± 4.
5. Verify that the monitor displays a pulse rate of 60 ± 4.
