To avoid risks, repairs must only be carried out
by authorised Wella Customer Service Centres.
If the power cord

is damaged, the complete
cable with mains adapter must be replaced. Use
only the original spare part, which you can
obtain from Wella Customer Service.
Do not open the appliance, except to change the
rechargeable battery (See “Changing the
rechargeable battery” on page 35).
The blade head must not be dismantled.
NOTE:
The safety of Wella electrical appliances is in
line with the recognised state of the art and the
German Equipment Safety Act.
Given the present state of the art, components
of electrical appliances are subject to a certain
degree of wear over time. To ensure perfect
functioning and safety, we therefore recommend
regular inspection by Wella’s Technical Cus-
tomer Service.
Safety during operation
DANGER:
When the appliance is switched on, do
not touch the inside or surface of the
blade.
The appliance must be switched off whenever:
you put it down, e.g. to recharge it or stop cut-
ting hair for a short period.
you fit or remove a comb attachment.
The power cord must not come into contact with
the blade head during operation.
Use the Xpert with the original comb attach-
ments only.
