Do
not
be
alarmed
if
temperature
gauges
show a
high
reading
following
a
sudden
stop
after
engine
has
been
operating
at
full
load.
This
is
caused
by
the
release
of
residual
heat
from
the
/
heavy
metal
masses
near
the
combustion
chamber.
Prevention
for
this
is
to
run
engine
at
idle
for
a
short
period
before
stopping
it.
High
temperature
reading
after
a
stop
does
not
necessar
ily
signal
alarm
against
restarting.
If
there
is
no
functional
dif-
ficulty,
temperatures
will
quickly
return
to
normal
when
engine
is
operating.
