ENGINE
INSTRUMENTATION
This
varies,
depending
on
the type
of engine
fitted,
but
most
yachts
are equipped with
a rev counter,
water temperature
gauge,
oil
pressure
warning light
and
charging
warning light.
BASIC
ENGINE
CARE
The.following
basic
points,
if adhered to,
will ensure long
engine
life.
The
most
critical
period
is
the first 20
-
30
running hours.
1 Do
not
start an
engine unless
you
are
sure:

oil level is
satisfactory.
l.2Gearbox
oil level is
satisfactory.
