  To resolve this, first, ensure the ice maker is turned on. For the fresh food ice maker, press the ice maker on-off button once. Also, verify that your Westinghouse refrigerator is properly connected to the water line and the water valve is open. Check for any kinks in the water supply line, especially where the refrigerator is pushed against the wall. Make sure the water filter is correctly seated; remove and reinstall it, ensuring it's fully locked. Lastly, if water dispenses slowly or not at all, or if the filter is over six months old, replace the water filter.

  To address this, first, check if the water filter is clogged. If water dispenses slower than normal, or if the filter is six months old or older, replace it. Also, make sure the water supply line isn't kinked, especially where the refrigerator is pushed against the wall. If you have a well system, ensure the cut-off and cut-on pressures on the water pump system are adequate. Finally, if you're using a reverse osmosis system, it's normal for it to be below 137 kPa (20 psi) during the regenerative phase. Note that the ice maker will produce approximately 1 kg of ice every 24 hours depending on usage conditions.

Make sure that the temperature sensor (located on the right side of the fresh food area) is not covered by food, allowing space for airflow. Also, ensure there is space between the air ports and the food items to promote proper air circulation.

  First, remove the ice container, discard the ice, and allow the ice maker to produce a fresh supply. To prevent this in the future, use ice at least twice a week to keep the cubes separated. If the ice cubes are hollow, it usually means the ice maker isn't getting enough water due to a clogged water filter or restricted water supply. Replace the water filter, and if the issue persists, check if the water valve is fully open and that the water supply line isn't kinked.
