  If your Westinghouse Refrigerator isn't working, first, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a switched ‘ON’ power outlet. Test the outlet with another appliance. If the outlet isn't working, you may have a blown fuse or a tripped circuit. You can also try adjusting the temperature control to a slightly "colder" position. Note that it is normal for the freezer fan NOT to operate during the automatic defrost cycle, or shortly after the appliance is switched on.

Pull the refrigerator away from the wall to check the tray and tube.

Other normal operational sounds include occasional gurgling (similar to water boiling), air flow noise (air circulates because of a small fan), and popping noises during automatic defrost. If you hear other strange sounds, check the following: ensure the cabinet is level, the floor is even, bottles are properly placed, there are no vibrations from objects on or around the refrigerator, and the back of the refrigerator isn't touching the wall.

  If heavy frosting occurs in the freezer of your Westinghouse appliance, make sure you fully close the freezer and fridge doors. If the doors are left partly open, a heavy frost will coat the inside of the freezer. If a frost develops, remove it and ensure the doors are properly closed to prevent it from reoccurring.
