Other normal operational sounds include occasional gurgling (similar to water boiling), air flow noise (air circulates because of a small fan), and popping noises during automatic defrost. If you hear other strange sounds, check the following: ensure the cabinet is level, the floor is even, bottles are properly placed, there are no vibrations from objects on or around the refrigerator, and the back of the refrigerator isn't touching the wall.
