HOW TO SLOW COOK
Crock capacity: For best results, ll Vessel with food no more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) from
the rim. If only half-lled, check for doneness 1 to 2 hours earlier than recipe states.
NOTE: Slow Cooker Vessel is for slow cooking only, and not to be used when smoking.
1. Plug into outlet.
2. Add ingredients to Vessel. Place Vessel onto Base.
3. Place Lid on Vessel. Lid should sit level on Vessel for even cooking and to prevent
heat loss.
4. Press ON/OFF Button to turn on and SLOW COOK Light will illuminate. Default
setting is HIGH for 4 hours with HIGH Light ashing.
5. To change setting, press or to adjust to LOW (default time is 8 hours) or
WARM (default time is 10 hours).
6. After 3 seconds, default time will start ashing. Press or to adjust to desired
cook time.
7. Slow Cooker will begin to heat after 3 seconds and time will begin to count down.
When selected cooking time is complete, Slow Cooker will beep 3 times, then
automatically switch to WARM setting with KEEP WARM Light illuminated.
HOW TO USE TEMPERATURE PROBE IN SLOW COOK MODE
Temperature Probe can only be used during HIGH or LOW.

cooked and then refrigerated, reheat it on low or high and then switch to warm. Visit
foodsafety.gov for more information.
w CAUTION
Burn Hazard. Escaping steam is hot. Use oven mitts to lift lid.
