Charge control:
The charge status of the battery can be
checked by a charge control device.
Hydraulic drive:
The hydraulic drive of the battery crimper
enables the high compacting pressure.
For de-aeration or to fill up oil proceed as
follows:
When filling oil into the hydraulic drive
some of it may leak out. Protect your
clothing and your working place.
1. Unscrew upper ISKA- screw (A).
2. Fill container with hydraulic oil.
3. Screw down upper ISKA- screw (A).
4. Unscrew ISKA- screw in front (B).
5. Close crimper by pushing orange
button (3).
6. Keep tool head in a closed position.
7. Screw down ISKA- screw in front (B).
8. Unscrew upper ISKA- screw (A).
9. Fill container again with hydraulic oil.
10. Unscrew lower ISKA- screw (B).
11. Move back ram with return lever (1).
12. Screw down ISKA- screws A and B.
Battery Charger and Battery:
Make sure the battery charger is only
being operated at a voltage of 230 V, 50-
60 HZ.
Caution:
For safety reasons use the battery
charger only with suitable batteries.
Otherwise the battery might burst and
cause injuries damage.
• Never expose the battery charger to rain
or snow or operate it in humid places.
• The use of additional devices that have
not been recommended explicitly can lead
to fire, electric shocks and injuries.
• Always hold the plug when separating the
battery charger from the mains in order to
avoid damaging the plug or the cable.
• Never operate a defective device or the
device in conjunction with a defective plug
or cable. Defective parts are to be
replacement immediately.
• Never disassemble the battery charger on
your own. For necessary service and
maintenance works refer to the after-sales
service.
• An unprofessional assembly can lead to
fire and electric shock.
• Before cleaning the battery charger, pull
the power plug to prevent electric shock.
• Battery charger and battery are co-
rdinated. Make sure not to use the battery
charger with batteries of other
manufacturers.
• Battery charger and battery should be
stored at temperatures between 0° and
50° C.
• Never charge the battery at temperatures
below 0° or higher than 40° C.
• Never expose the battery to open fire.
Danger of explosion!
• The battery should be charged in a well-
ventilated place. Don’t cover the battery
charger or the battery during the charging
process with a cloth or anything similar.
• Never short-circuit the battery. This can
lead to overheating or burning.
