1.0 Application
The Whale Expanse Water Heater now comes in a LIN controlled system alongside our latest Room
Heater, Heat Air. The existing controls utilising the CBE Duo Control and iVan Control Panels have
been updated to manage this change. These changes were necessary to add the LIN communication
protocol as used in the Heat Air Room Heaters.
This information is applicable to OEM Expanse Water Heater models for the 2020 season and must
be read in conjunction with the main How To Guide, "HowTo_ExWtrHtr_v04_01_2018". Any chapter
references within this guide are regarding this How To Guide.
Please observe all Gas and Electrical warnings in section 1.2 in the aforementioned How To Guide

A LIN controlled system will be easily identifiable by the change in the icons on Duo Control and iVan
