Disconnect power before servicing to prevent serious injury or death.
This motor kit is an authorized FSP service replacement part. Follow instructions carefully.
Do not remove or replace the motor switch; failure can cause fire or injury.
Remove defective motor and compare it with the replacement, noting pulley differences.
Instructions for pulley removal/installation and belt restrainer removal.
Cut threaded portion of the replacement motor shaft off using a hacksaw.
Reinstall the pulley from the defective motor onto the replacement motor shaft.
Compare defective motor switch with the new replacement motor switch.
Position and secure the motor to the bracket using original motor clamps.
Disconnect and discard the blue jumper wire from the motor switch to the overload.
Connect main harness wires (blue, red, black, white) to the motor switch and overload protector.
Replace 1/4" female terminals with included insulated terminals for specific wires.
Reconnect the ground wire after completing all other wire lead connections.
