  Your Whirlpool Washer might be vibrating, rocking, or “walking” due to several reasons: * The feet may not be in contact with the floor and locked, so ensure the front and rear feet are in firm contact with the floor, and the washer is level. * The washer may not be level. Inspect the floor for flexing or sagging. If the flooring is uneven, placing a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood under the washer can help reduce the sound.
