Why does my Whirlpool Dryer take so long to dry?

Several factors can cause your Whirlpool Dryer to take longer than expected or leave laundry not fully dry. First, ensure you've selected the right program for your load type. Second, a clogged door or bottom filter restricts airflow; clean them as instructed in the CARE AND MAINTENANCE section. Third, laundry that's too wet prolongs drying time; ensure it's spun at maximum speed (ideally above 800 rpm). Finally, high ambient temperatures affect drying efficiency; the ideal range is 15-20°C, so ventilate the room if it's too warm.
