10 – FAILURE CORRECTION CHART:
ALLEGED FAULT CHECK SOLUTION
Does not Work If the Power Cable is connected. Connect it
If the jack is powered. If not, advise the consumer to
call an electrician.
If the Potency Module or the
Interface Board is defective.
Replace it.
If the circuit breaker is tripped or if
the home fuse is blown.
Reset the circuit breaker or
advise the consumer to call an
electrician.
Voltage too low. (This may be
noticed through the lamp lighting
oscillation)
Advise the consumer to install
an automatic 1000-Watt
stabilizer.
Power Cable damaged. Replace it.
Does Not Refrigerate /
Refrigerates not much in
the Refrigerator.
If installation is correct (heat
sources, sunshine, embedding, etc.)
Advise the consumer on the
proper installation and minimum
distance for embedding (10 cm
on the top and rear and 3 cm on
the sides).
If the Damper Button is on the proper
position.
Advise the consumer. On days
too hot or with the Refrigerator
too full, the Damper Button
should be set to maximum.
If there are any utensils blocking the
cold air outlet.
Unblock and advise the
consumer.
If there were excess door openings
or open doors.
Advise the consumer.
Does not Chill / Chills not
much in the Freezer
If the evaporator is blocked by ice. There were problems in the
defrosting. Check if the Bimetal
shows any problems, if it is
inproperly positioned or leaned
against the Defrost Heater.
Check if the Defrost Heater is
blown. Check if the Chute or
Defrosting Drain is blocked.
Freezing in the
Refrigerator Compartment.
If utensils are placed directly on the
cold air outlet.
Reposition them and advise the
consumer.
If the Damper Button is properly
positioned.
Advise the consumer: on days
too cold or with few food in the
Refrigerator, the Damper Button
should be set to the minimum.
Internal Refrigerator
Exudation.
If the Doors are closing properly. Level the product, check the
gasket and check the Hinge
adjustment.
If the Damper Button is on the proper
position.
Place the Button on the proper
position and advise the
consumer.
If still hot, unpacked or uncovered
food was stored.
Advise the consumer.
