Why my Whirlpool WED80HEBW Dryer won't start?
- TTracy TerrellAug 13, 2025
If your Whirlpool dryer isn't running, first ensure the door is completely closed. Then, firmly touch and hold the START/PAUSE button for 2–5 seconds. Check your household fuses or circuit breakers; electric dryers often have two. Replace any blown fuses or reset tripped breakers. If issues persist, consult an electrician to verify that your electric dryer is receiving a 240-volt power supply and that you are using a time-delay fuse.
