Why does my White Outdoor RB-530 Tiller engine fail to start?
    • K
      Kevin PierceJul 31, 2025
If your White Outdoor Tiller engine won't start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty and that you're using clean, fresh gasoline, as fuel older than thirty days can degrade without a stabilizer. Next, verify the throttle control lever is in the correct starting position and that the choke is in the ON position. Also, check that the spark plug wire is securely connected. If these steps don't work, the fuel line might be blocked and require cleaning, or the spark plug could be faulty, needing cleaning, gap adjustment, or replacement.

Why is my White Outdoor RB-530 engine running erratic?

      alexisdennisAug 7, 2025
If your White Outdoor Tiller engine runs erratically, there are several things to check. Make sure the choke lever is in the OFF position. Ensure the spark plug wire is securely connected and tightened. A blocked fuel line or stale fuel could also be the culprit; clean the fuel line and refill the tank with fresh gasoline, especially if the fuel is older than thirty days (unless you've used a fuel stabilizer). Also, check the vent in the gas cap to ensure it's clear. Finally, water or dirt in the fuel system can cause issues, so drain the fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel.

What to do if tines do not engage on White Outdoor RB-530?
    • M
      Michael YatesAug 14, 2025
If the tines on your White Outdoor Tiller aren't engaging, start by checking for any foreign objects lodged in the tines and dislodge them. Next, inspect the tine clevis pins to ensure none are missing; replace them if necessary. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the control cable may need adjustment. Lastly, a worn or stretched belt can prevent engagement, requiring replacement.
