STRAIGHT
STRETCH
STITCH:
This
stitch
may
be
used
on
knits
and
wovens
in
areas
of
stress
as
a
reinforcement
stitch.
It
is
excellent
for
curved
seams
such
as
armholes
and
crotch
seams.
For
active
wear
such
as
ski
pants
and
girdle
fabrics
which
endure
a
lot
of
stress
in
bending
and
stretching,
this
stitch
may
be
used
for
seaming
throughout
the
garment.
CAUTION
—
It
is
difficult
to
remove
this
stitch
from
fabric.
Pre-fit
garment
before
using this
stitch.

TOPSTITCHING”
Because
this
stitch
is heavier
than
an
ordinary
straight
stitch
it
is
ideal
for
top-
stitching,
particularly
on
knits.
ULTRA-STRETCH
STITCH:
The
Ultra-Stretch
Stitches
are
excellent
for
stretch
fabrics
such
as
lingerie,
sweater
knits,
bathing
suit
knits,
and
cotton
knits.
It
has
the
greatest
strength
and
elasticity
of
all.

RICK-RACK
STRETCH
This
is
most
common
utility
ultrastretch
of
a
triple
back-and-forth
zig’zag
stitches
with more
elasticity
than
regular
zigzag.
