move
freely
between
any
two
widths,
such
as
in
doing
free-hand
embroidery
or
buttonholes,
set
left
hand
zigzag
width
lock
at selected
number
and
right
hand
ck

number
5
or
lower.
The
2 width
will
be
produced
until
the
zigzag
lever
(20,

12-B)
is
moved.
EMBROIDERY
PATTERNS
With
the
machine
set
for
a
short
stitch
length,
different
designs can
be
made
by
swinging
the
stitch
width
or
zigzag
lever
back
and
forth
between
0
and
5
or
any
other combination
of
widths.
Try
setting
the
locks
at
1
and
5, 2
and
4,
etc. Set
a
rhythm
for
yourself
and
then
proceed.
After
a
while
you
will
become
quite
skillful,
varying
your designs
by
the
speed
of
te
machine,
stitch
length
and
width
and
the
manipulation
of
the
lever.
