NEEDLE
UP/DOWN
SWITCH
(Electronic model
979 only)
Your
machine is electronically
controlled
so that the needle
will
always rise
to the up’ position
whenever you
stop
sewing.
If
you
wish
to lower the
needle, press the
switch and
a
beep
sound will
be
heard
and the needle will
move to the down
position. Push it
again or activate
the foot control and
the
needle will
move back
to the ‘up position.
SEWING SPEED
CONTROL
(Electronic model
979 only)
The sewing
speed is
achieved
by
using
the sewing
speed
control
in conjunction
with the foot control. The
sewing
speed
control is
moved horizontally
to determine
the zone of speed
required.

SPOOL
PINS
Place
a
spool of thread
on the spool pin. Secure it with
the
spool cap (A) leaving
a gap between the spool
cap
and the
reel of thread
to allow the reel
to rotate freely.
Pull up the spool
pin (B) This is
used
for bobbin winding
when the machine
is
already
threaded.

siempre con Ia aguja arriba.
Si desea bajar Ia aguja, pulse el interruptor, sonará un
pitido
y
bajará Ia aguja a su posición inferior.
Vuelva
a
pulsar
o
active el pedal
y
Ia aguja volverá a subir.
CONTROL DE VELOCIDAD

La velocidad de costura se regula mediante el
control
de
velocidad conjuntamente con eI pedal. El
control de
velocidad
se
mueva horizontalmente
para
determinar Ia
velocidad
desesda.

There are three positions for
your presser foot.
1. Lower
the
presser
foot to sew.
2.
Raise
the
lifter
to the
middle
position to
insert
or
remove
fabric.
3. Uft
it
to its
highest
position to change the
presser foot
or
to
remove thick fabric.
PALANCA PIE
