lever
1 is
located
inside
of
shuttle
cover.
To
lower
feed
dog,
push
the
lever,
then
slide
it
to
the
left.
This
position
is used
for
button
sewing,
darning
and
embroidery.
For
normal
sewing,
push
the
lever
to
the
right,
then
release
it.
FREE
HAND
EMBROIDERY
Set
the
machine
as
shown.
Remove
foot
and
holder
screw.
To
avoid
lower
thread
from
being
pulled
up,
reduce
upper
thread
tension.
For
good
embroidery,
it
is
important
to
use
the
correct
needle
and
thread.
Use
embroidery
thread
for
upper
thread
and
a
thinner
thread
of
same
kind
and
color
for
lower
thread.
Trace
your
design
on
fabric
and
place
it
in
the
embroidery
hoop,
making
sure
fabric
is
taut.
