1.5 ”Key lock” switch
The new version of RC DEX has a two position sliding switch to enable or disable transmission
of signals to the hearing aid(s).
1.6 LED indication
A LED lights up green color through a light guide to the top of the device.
2 User interface requirements
2.1 “key-lock switch requirement
The functionality of the key-lock switch is:
If the “key-lock” switch is in “OFF” position the functional buttons does not change hearing
aid setting.
If the “key-lock” switch is in “ON” position the functional buttons are active and works as
described in 2.4.
The switch must be placed on the right hand side optimally placed for operation with right
hand tomb.
A red marking appear in “OFF” position and a green mark appear in “ON position.
The switch slides to either ON” or “OFF” position and stays in that position until the user
slides it to the opposite position.

Push/Pull force and mechanical function is described in Mechanical requirement section.
2.2 LED indicator requirements
The device has one green LED to indicate activation of the functional buttons when “key-lock”
slider is in “ON” position.
3 INTERFERENCE INFORMATION :

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device
must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
