The new version of RC DEX has a two position sliding switch to enable or disable transmission
of signals to the hearing aid(s).
A LED lights up green color through a light guide to the top of the device.
2 User interface requirements
2.1 “key-lock” switch requirement
The functionality of the key-lock switch is:
If the “key-lock” switch is in “OFF” position the functional buttons does not change hearing
If the “key-lock” switch is in “ON” position the functional buttons are active and works as
The switch must be placed on the right hand side optimally placed for operation with right
A red marking appear in “OFF” position and a green mark appear in “ON” position.
The switch slides to either “ON” or “OFF” position and stays in that position until the user
slides it to the opposite position.

2.2 LED indicator requirements
The device has one green LED to indicate activation of the functional buttons when “key-lock”
slider is in “ON” position.
