2. Safety
2.1 Intended use
The WIKA solutions provide measured values and other functions in dierent industries and countries or regions
via Bluetooth, depending on the instrument and specication. Due to the dierent countries and regions, there are
dierences in the individual radio approvals, frequency bands and their transmission power. When selecting the
country or region, it is assumed that the user has checked the selected frequency band for suitability with regard to the
relevant regulations and approvals in order to prevent radio-frequency interference and infringements.
The instrument has been designed and engineered solely for the intended use described here, and may only be used
accordingly.
The technical specications of the respective instruments must be observed, see operating instructions of the
respective instrument. It is assumed that the instrument is handled properly and within its technical specications.
Otherwise, the instrument must be taken out of service immediately and inspected by an authorised WIKA service
engineer.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for claims of any type based on operation contrary to the intended use.
2.2 Improper use
Any use beyond or dierent to the intended use is considered as improper use, see the operating instructions of the
individual instrument.
