• Keep the appliance away from heat sources, direct
sunlight, moisture and sharp edges.
• Do not use with wet hands. Unplug immediately if
the unit is damp or wet. Do not immerse in water.
• When the unit is cleaned after use, it must not be
submerged in water or any other uid.
• Be especially aware of “special safety instructions”
below.
• Never ll the pot-coffee maker above the
maximum level since hot foaming coffee or other
liquids (e.g. mils) might overow during heating.
• The coffee maker shall not be placed in a cabinet
during use.
• Do not use the appliance if the surface is cracked.
SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS UNIT
• The unit must only be lled with fresh water.
• Pull out the plug when the unit is not in use.
• Only use original spare parts.
• Never use the glass jug on hotplates or in a
microwave oven.
• Always remove the plug from the power socket
prior to cleaning.
