FUEL
GAUGE
The
fuel
gauge
is
electrically
operated
and
registers
only
when
the
ignition
key
is
turned.
The
gauge
shows
the
fuel
level
in
the
tank
in

the
“F”
or
full
mark.
OIL
PRESSURE
GAUGE

oil
pressure
gauge
does
not
indicate
the
amount
of
oil

and

The
ammeter
indicates
the
charging
rate
of
the
generator.

generator

charges

the
battery

current

not

cerned
if
the
ammeter
hand
remains
near
the
zero
mark
at
times
when
your
engine
is
run-

the
center
of
the
instrument
panel.
They
are
the
fuel,
oil
pressure
and
temperature
gauges;
ammeter
and
speedometer.

battery
is
fully
charged,
the
ammeter
should
show
charge
for

short
time
after
starting

the

GAUGE
The
temperature
gauge
indicates
the
temperature
of
your
en-
gine
at
all
times
so
that
you
may
guard
against
overheatin|
which
might
cause
serious
engine
damage.
The
gauge
shoil
register
between
160
and
180
degrees
in
normal
operation.
It
will
vary
slightly
depending
upon
air
temperatures.
SPEEDOMETER
The
speedometer,
located
at
the
center
of
the
instrument
panel,
registers
road
speeds
and
the
odometer
below
the
indicating
needle
records
the
mileage
traveled.
Tt
requires
no
service
attention
other
than
proper
lubrication
of
the
drive
shaft.
Once
each
year
or
each
10,000
miles
remove
the
shaft
from
the
conduit
and
coat
it
with
light
graphite
grease.
