VAC SHOE
1. Remove & to aces vac shoe mountin3 bolts
3. Rcmove (3 shoulder bolts holding vac shoe to chassis,&
4 Remove nut at rhc end of hagfit adjustmenr rod.
NOTE.. When rcnsraUing vac shoe on PASSPORT. do not
ovcmgixm shoulder bolts. Lewe enough looseness to allow vac
shoe to move up and down With the haght adjusting screw.

Remove k!t pard. brush pulley pard and beving covers
as exh end of brush.
Slide Srusn upwards and remove Sdt from @ey. Remove
brush assezoiy from housing. Repiacr brush or bevinp
as m.Uid
R'hcn ~:nsrdling brush. check Seit for proper tmsion.
Bcit shouia be uu~$t. (Do noc ovczighcm.) To adjust heft
loosen ':) hex nuts. mc;~[e motor reward and m@en

VAC MOTOR BRUSHES
1.
io insztc: motor brushes. remove brush holdcr mbly.
Bwhcs jnould be repixd when worn to f/S inch or after
Jbout '50 opesting hours. After second brush ,qiac:ment.
rhe mm commutator should be cncrkcd for pimp and
conccnrrrcry. Vac moton can be repmred but such npan
snould be made by 3 qualified motor rqau shop.
NOTE: When replacing clecmcd component parrs nfcr to Wiring

Remove screw holding wheel on axle. CIua yde 3ad apply
a thin coaung of silicone lubricant to axle before rr-
installing whet!.

Remove soluuon dryn hose from keeper. -~
Remove (4) boiu holding tank to chassis zi
Rwe tank and pull soiunon dratn hose thmugh C~SIS.
Remove pump inier hose from wk and lay tanlc aside

NOTE: The vac motor is protcacd by a circuit brclkcr loured in
the switch pane!. Tnc brake: will aniy mp under conditions of
abuse.
Lift off vac nocur cuoiing air intake cover.
Remove vac hose from chassis outict
Loosen smn relief nut ad move the (2) Lower
handle bolu. D'
remove sccws holding motor piare to chassis and Iifi out
motor.
SPRAY JETS
1,
To prevent clog^ jets due to Wine build - up. the spray
system should be flushed with I to 1 @om of c!em hot
water 3t the end of ach day. The ;nacfme is cU~:ppcd with
"Quck c!lange" jcrs rh3t csn be evily removed for c!eyUng.
T O remove - push jet in md mute I/3 m. Wash jes md
blow dry. Do not use pins or wire to remove obsuucaon Y
thrs will cnanp spray pattern.
