Join the two rain baffle parts and attach to the seed hopper by aligning posts and rotating.
Align the AutoFeeder Assembly posts with the seed hopper holes and rotate to snap into place.
Attach the seed cage and tray to the AutoFeeder assembly using the large thumb screw.
Loosen thumb screws, remove the door, and install 4 AA batteries in the correct orientation.
Replace the battery door and finger tighten the two thumb screws to secure it.
Move the metal handle down, remove the metal top, fill the seed hopper, and replace the top.
Use UP or DOWN buttons to set the current hour and minute on the timer display.
Press MODE to select Timer (1-4), then use UP/DOWN to adjust the set feed times.
Adjust Run-Time (0-20 seconds) to control seed dispensed per feed time.
Hold MODE for 3 seconds to test seed dispensing for programmed Run-Time.
Close the timer door and finger tighten the two thumb screws to secure it.
Hang the AutoFeeder in the desired location to begin the feeding cycle.
Remove assembly, rinse seed hopper with water, and dry with a clean towel.
