7 ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
The DPS has an expected life time of a minimum of 10 years conditional on annual service and
maintenance being carried out.
Disposal of the DPS can be made through Winncare Nordic which will ensure
the different parts are recycled or reused in an environmental friendly way.
Parts that contain aluminum, plastics and steel may damage the environment
if not handled in an environmentally responsible way.
Winncare Nordic is certified according to the quality standard ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
These certifications mean that the products and the company comply with the international
standards for quality management and standards for traceability of medical products.
The DPS is classified as a Medical Device, Class 1 product.
