Danger from electric shock!
The device must be wiped completely dry before connecting it to the mains supply.
Penetrating liquids can cause a short circuit and the spread of fire.
Safety checks
The HS-100 is designed to operate safely for 10 years. However, safe use can only be assured with
regular inspection and maintenance by the manufacturer or an authorized dealer. The manufacturer
recommends an inspection/maintenance cycle of 2 years. For this, contact the manufacturer as
described in chapter 12.
Unit damage!
Please remove all liquids when shipping the device.
Changing the coarse filter
The coarse filter (6) should be cleaned at least quarterly. To do this, it must be removed from the HS-
100. First the user must remove the bottle with purified water (4) (see chapter 6). Then the remaining
water must be removed from the HS-100 via the water outlet (8). After that the HS-100 can be put on
its side. The coarse filter (6) can now be removed from the bottom of the device. The filter can be
rinsed with water (do not use washing solution!). Before reinserting it into the device, it must be
completely dry. The dry coarse filter can now be inserted into the device. Alternatively, a new coarse
filter can be ordered.
To reorder the coarse filter, see chapter 4.
Changing the air filter
The air filter (7) should be replaced at least quarterly. To do this, it must be removed from the HS-100.
First the user must remove the bottle with purified water (4) (see chapter 6). Then the remaining water
must be removed from the HS-100 via the water outlet (8). After that the HS-100 can be put on its
side. The air filter (7) can now be removed from the bottom of the device. The filter is delivered in a
sealed package. Unpack the air filter directly before inserting it.
To reorder the air filter, see chapter 4.
