8| Troubleshooting
Caution!
In case of malfunction, always remove the pressure cooker from the hob.
Never use force to open the cooker!
Pressure cooker malfunctions
The heating time is too long or the cooking
indicator (1) does not rise.
Steam is escaping from the lid.
Steam constantly escapes from the safety
valve/automatic heating feature (9) (does not
apply to the heating phase).
Cause
The diameter of the hob is unsuitable.
The power setting is unsuitable.
The lid is not positioned correctly.
The ball in the safety valve/automatic hea-
ting feature (9) is not moving.
There is no liquid (min. 1/4 l).
The sealing ring (10) and/or rim of the pot
have not been properly cleaned.
Slider (7) is not at ZU/LOCKED.
The sealing ring (10) is damaged or hard (due
to wear and tear).
The ball is not moving.
