Please read the following use and care in-
structions carefully before using this product
for the first time.
Instructions for maintaining the wok and
using it safely
• Remove all stickers before using the product
for the first time. Rinse the wok with hot wa-
ter, fill with water and boil briefly, then dry
thoroughly.
• Please note that the handles can become hot.
Use pan holders. This is also the case when
cooking in the oven. You must also use hand
protection in this case.
• Never heat an empty wok and ensure that the
liquid from the cooked food never completely
evaporates. Failure to do so can result in the
food being burned or damage to the wok or
heat source.
• Be careful with hot fat. Do not leave a hot
wok unattended. Do not extinguish burning
fat with water. Use a blanket or a fire extin-
guisher.
• Only add salt to water that is already boiling,
and make sure you stir it so that the salt does
not come into contact with the base.
• After use, rinse with hot water as soon as
possible.
• Soak stubborn food residue and gently re-
move with a sponge or brush.
• Please do not use steel wool or abrasive
scouring agents.
• Hard water and certain types of food can
result in limescale deposits or blue shimmer-
ing discolouration on the inside of the pan.
Remove this promptly and on a regular basis
by boiling vinegar in the cookware.
• Dry the wok thoroughly before storing it.
Information for cleaning in the dishwasher
• Only use dishwasher detergent by well-known
brands. Always fill the salt and rinse aid dis-
