Woks with steaming inserts offer you even more variety. Dumplings or balls of rice
with a filling of meat, fish or vegetables are cooked in the insert and gently steamed
in the rising steam with the lid on.
Care and safety instructions
Never heat up the wok when empty and ensure that the liquid in the food does not
completely evaporate. Disregarding this can lead to food being burnt or to damage to
the cookware, or can cause damage to the hob resulting from the aluminium in the
base melting.
After use rinse in hot water as soon as possible.
Soak residue food and remove with a sponge or brush. (We recommend Scotch Brite
cleaning sponge “Kratzt nicht 3M”).
Please do not use steel wool or cleaning fluid containing sand.
Hard water and certain food types can cause marks or shimmering blue discoloration
on the inside. Please remove regularly and without delay, by heating up vinegar in
your cookware.
Store the wok completely dry.
Instructions for induction hobs
The symbol on the base indicates whether your wok is suitable for use on inductions
hobs.
At a high setting there may be a humming sound. This noise occurs for technical
reasons and does not indicate a fault in your cooker or cookware.
The size of the pan and of the hob must correspond otherwise the hob (magnetic field)
may not react to the pan base.
Instructions for electric cookers
Where electric hobs are used the diameter of the hob should correspond to the
diameter of the pan to make better use of energy.
