Several
other
factors
will
influence
where
the
installation
will
be
sited,
including
the
location of outside
walls,
where
additional
heat
may
be
desired
in
the
home,
where
the
family
members gather most
regularly.
and perhaps
most
importantly,
the
distance limitations of
the
venting
system.
Refer
to
the manufacturer's instructions
included with the venting system for
complete installation procedures.
It
is important to note the following:
•
The
hOrizontal

must
not
be
recessed
Into
the
exterIOr
wall
or
siding.
•
Horizontal
vent
runs
must
be
level
or
rise
1/4"
per
foot
toward
the
vent
tennlnatlon.
•
Clearances
around
the
vent
tennlnatlon
must
be
maintained.
•
Parallel
Installations
with
minimum
wall
clearance
have
restricted
access
for
con-
necting
the
Horizontal
Vent
cap
straps
to
the
vent
pipe.

Maximum Vent Run
The
maximum
permissible vertical
rise
of
the
venting
system
above
the
top of
the
Wonderfire Direct Vent
Gas
Heater
is
9
feet.
The
maximum
permissible horizontal
run
is
6
feet.
Additional restrictions apply
to
the
maximum total
length
and
the
number
of
elbows
as
shown
in
the
chart
below.
