What to do if Woods Farm Equipment material discharges unevenly?

  Uneven discharge of material from your Woods Farm Equipment, resulting in bunches along the swath, can happen if the material is too high or there is too much of it. Reduce ground speed while maintaining 540 RPM at the tractor PTO, or make two passes over the material, raising the mower for the first pass and lowering it for the second, cutting 90 degrees to the first pass. Raise the rear of the mower high enough to permit material discharge. Another cause is wet grass, so allow the grass to dry before mowing and slow the ground speed of the tractor while keeping the engine running at full PTO rpm.

  Streaking in the swath of your Woods Farm Equipment can occur for a few reasons. One is that the conditions are too wet for mowing, so allow the grass to dry before mowing. Another reason is that the blades are unable to cut that part of the grass pressed down by the path of tractor tires; slow the ground speed of the tractor but keep the engine running at full PTO rpm, cutting lower will help, and adjust tractor tire spacing if possible. Dull blades can also cause streaking, so sharpen or replace them. Finally, a loose blade can be the culprit, so check the blade hardware.
