How do I prevent snipe on my Woodstock W1876?

If you are experiencing excessive snipe (a gouge in the end of the board that is uneven with the rest of the cut) or the back of the workpiece is concave when using your Woodstock Power Tool, it may be because the outfeed table is set too low, or the knives (straight knife cutterheads only) are set too high. Align the outfeed table with the cutterhead knives/inserts at top dead center. Also, avoid pushing down on the trailing end (infeed side) of the workpiece as it leaves the cutterhead; instead, focus most of the workpiece pressure against the outfeed table while cutting.
