Safety instructions
General
Never ignore the safety instructions and don’t
damage them.
Keep all safety information and instructions
for future reference. Never throw the safety
instructions away.
When using the tool, bear in mind that the
fasteners could be deected and thus cause
injuries.
Keep your ngers away from the trigger if you
are not actually operating the tool and merely
swapping the tool from one working position
to another.
Keep all body parts such as hands and legs,
etc. away from the direction of shooting and
ensure that the fastener cannot penetrate
through the workpiece into a body part.
Ensure that you have read and understood the
safety instructions before connecting, discon-
necting, loading, operating or servicing the
tool, or changing accessories or working in
the vicinity of the tool. Failure to comply could
result in severe injuries.
During operation, place the nail outlet ope-
ning of the tool correctly on the working sur-
face. If the nail outlet opening is not correctly
positioned, the fasteners could be ejected
away from the working surface.
Hold the tool rmly in the hand and be pre-
pared for the recoil.
Only technically accomplished operators
should use the tool.
Do not make any changes to the tool. Modi-
cations can reduce the eectiveness of the
safety precautions and increase the risk for the
operator or bystanders.
Do not use any tool that is damaged or not
operating correctly. Label the tool as defective
and remove it from the working area to pre-
vent its further use.
Be careful when handling fasteners, especially
during loading and unloading because the
fasteners have sharp tips, which could lead to
injuries.
Before use, always check the tool for broken,
incorrectly connected or worn parts.
Avoid an abnormal bodily posture. Only use
the tool in a secure work station. Ensure that
you can always maintain a safe standing posi-
tion and maintain your balance at all times.
Keep bystanders and children away (if you
are working in an area, in which the move-
ment of people is likely). Clearly mark your
working area.
Never point the tool towards yourself or
towards other persons. Unintended activations
could cause serious accidents. Ensure that
the nail outlet opening is not directed towards
people when you are connecting the tool, loa-
ding and unloading fasteners or performing
other similar processes.
Do not leave your nger on the trigger when
you are lifting the tool, moving it between
working areas and positions or when you are
walking with the tool because this could result
in unintentional triggering.
Only wear gloves that oer appropriate
tactile sensitivity and ensure safe control of the
trigger and all adjustment devices.
When not using, remove the battery and gas
cartridge.
You can nd detailed information for correct
maintenance in the tool maintenance inst-
ructions (maintenance/care). Only qualied
personnel can repair the tool using parts that
are supplied or recommended by Würth or
equivalent parts of the same quality.
Do not smoke on your workplace and keep
the device away from naked ames or electric
sparks.
The device must not be operated in a wet or
damp environment. Do not expose the device
to rain.
Before use, check the tool for the following:
Use a suitable power source, see Techni-
cal Data.
Flawless condition of the tool.
No incorrect alignment or jamming of
moving parts.
Compliance with all conditions for the
correct and safe operation of the tool.
That before use of the tool all screws and
bolts are tightened and have been correctly
attached. Loose or incorrectly attached
screws or bolts would cause accidents and
damage to the tool upon start-up.
Frequently check the operation of the
workpiece contact. Do not use the tool if it
is not working correctly, otherwise this could
result in unintentional ring of a fastener. Do
not impede the correct functioning of the
workpiece contact.
