Troubleshooting Tips
Fault Possible cause Remedy
The green indication of the
charger remains dark; batte-
ry cannot be charged
The plug of the mains adapter is not completely
plugged into the socket or the connection to the
charging cradle is interrupted
Plug in mains adapter correctly; connect it correctly
to the charging cradle
Power socket defective Have the power socket checked by a qualied
technician
The green LED or the charger / mains adapter is
defective
Have the charger / mains adapter checked by a
customer service authorized by Würth
Fan motor does not start
working after the sleeve has
been pressed against the
surface.; the charging state
indication is dark
Battery is not correctly inserted Remove battery and insert it again until it clicks into
place
Battery contacts soiled, oily or corroded Clean battery contacts
Battery deeply discharged or defective Charge battery or remove (see Battery and charger
section)
Fan motor defective Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
The ring process was not
triggered although the
sleeve had been pushed
and the trigger had been
actuated; normal fan motor
operation; charging state
indication dark
Gas cartridge empty Change the gas cartridge
Igniter / ignition plug defective
Dosing valve defective, combustion chamber is not
lled with gas
Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
Replace the dosing valve
It is not possible to push in
the sleeve completely or
partly
Blockage due to jammed magazine, fasteners
jammed in the ejection channel.
Clear the jam (see Eliminating blockages section)
Sleeve and ejector sti due to soiling Clean the ejection channel and the sleeve using the
pressurized air.
Open the closure ap (Observe instructions!)
Ejector is not seated properly behind the fastener Clean the ejection channel with compressed air and
press ejector upwards
Workpiece contact of attachment sleeve twisted
or defective.
Have the device checked by a customer service
authorized by Würth
Magazine strip is not moved
forward
Use of wrong fasteners / magazine strips Only use genuine Würth fasteners
Magazine strip / follower is sti Clean magazine
Firing performance reduces
signicantly or is insucient;
fasteners are not driven in
completely
Combustion chamber insuciently lled or gas
cartridge almost empty
Check gas cartridge for correct seating or replace
gas cartridge
Overheating due to insucient cooling or
Air inlet
Do not hold your hand in front of the cover or clean
lter pad
Combustion chamber not compressed correctly:
Test: Press sleeve against the surface for approx. 1
min, then actuate the trigger.
If no ring is triggered, there is a loss of sealing.

Sleeve does not return to
initial position
Worn or twisted ejector; piston jammed due
to defective piston rings; workpiece contact of
attachment sleeve twisted.

Unbalanced operation of
