It is only possible to work safe-
ly with this product if the you
read these operating instruc-
tions and the safety instruc-
tions in their entirety, fully un-
derstand the instructions and
strictly follow the information
given. In addition, the general
safety notes in the enclosed
booklet must be followed.
If the mains cable is damaged or
severed while using the tool, do
not touch cable but immediately
unplug it from the mains. Never use
the product with a damaged cable.
Wear safety glasses and ear de-
fenders.
qWear a hairnet if your hair is long. Only work
with close fitting clothing.

Use suitable detectors to find hidden
pipes or cables, or contact your local
utility company for assistance.
Contact with electric cables may cause fire
and electric shock. Damage to a gas pipe
may cause an explosion. Drilling a hole in a
water pipe may cause damage or an electric
shock.

If there is risk of hitting a hidden cable
or pipe, or the tool‘s mains cable when
using the tool, only hold the electric tool
by the insulated handle.
Metal parts on the product may become live
on contact with a live cable and may cause
an electric shock.
qConnect products used outdoors using an resid-
ual current device (RCD) with a maximum trip
current of 30 mA. Only use an extension cable
approved for use outdoors.
qUnplug from the mains during breaks, when not
in use and prior to all work on the product (e.g.
changing the tools, maintenance, cleaning, ad-
justments).
qOnly use product with auxiliary handle 14.
qFeed cable away from product to the rear.
qDo not carry or hang up the product by the ca-
ble.
qOnly plug into the mains if the product is
switched off.
qWhen using the product, always hold it firmly
with both hands and ensure you are standing
securely.
qAlways switch off the product and wait until it
has stopped before putting it down.
qNever allow children to use the product.
qDo not drill holes in the housing or attach rivets
to mark the product. Adequate insulation may
then no longer be provided. Use stickers.
