  If you're hearing a repetitive trouble alarm when trying to arm your X10 Security System, check the zone indicators. If a door or window is open, its zone indicator will be on. If a Sensor or Motion Detector has a problem, its zone indicator will flash slowly. You can either: * Press DISARM, ensure all doors/windows are closed and sensors are working, then arm the system again. * Press BYPASS while the alarm is sounding to override the problem zone (its indicator will flash rapidly), then arm the system again.

  A flashing armed indicator on your X10 Security System means there has been an intrusion. If a zone indicator is on, it shows which zone was affected. To reset it, press ARM then DISARM on the Console or remote control. If no zone indicator is lit, the affected zone might be one of the second eight zones; press BYPASS to check those zones.

  If the X10 Security System alarm doesn't trip when a door or window is opened, ensure that the system is armed and that the console's slide switch is set to RUN1 or RUN2. Test the Door/Window Sensor by pressing the TEST button. If it doesn't trip, check if the indicator on the sensor lights up when you press TEST. If not, replace the battery and reinstall the sensor.
