Beyond Bluetooth, the speaker offers versatile connectivity options, supporting music playback from a Micro SD card and through an Aux (audio line-in) connection. It also features a built-in microphone, enabling hands-free calling when connected to a phone via Bluetooth. The speaker's automatic shutdown function, which activates after 10 minutes of Bluetooth disconnection, helps conserve power.

• Power On/Off and Mode Switching: The device is turned on or off by pressing and holding the "/M" button for 3 seconds. A single press of this button allows users to cycle through different modes: Bluetooth Mode, Music Mode (for Micro SD card playback), and Aux Mode (for audio line-in). If no Micro SD card or audio cable is connected, the speaker defaults to Bluetooth Mode.
• Touch Controls: The speaker incorporates smart touch screen technology for various functions. Gently touching the controls allows users to change songs (previous/next song), adjust volume (volume up/down), and manage phone calls.
• Call Management: The " " button serves multiple purposes for call management. A short press will play/pause music, answer an incoming call, or hang up an ongoing call. A long press of this button will disconnect Bluetooth. For convenience, quickly double-tapping the " " button will redial the last call. For optimal call quality, users are advised to speak near the microphone, which is located under the Aux jack.
• Bluetooth Pairing: To pair the speaker with a device, simply turn on the speaker to automatically enter Bluetooth mode. On the device, search for "XLeader A8" in the Bluetooth settings. For older Bluetooth versions (under 3.0), a password or PIN code "0000" might be required to complete the pairing process.
