gear set for
improved durability.
The uprated gear sets are scheduled to be available in calendar week 38 (week
commencing 21
st
September 2015). From that time onwards, all new gearbox builds
and rebuilds warranting a replacement 3
rd
gear will be supplied with the uprated gear
set. Until that time, it is advised that customers limit the life of their current 233-42M-
3A-1730 gear sets to 2000km. In addition, customers are encouraged to crack check
their current 3
rd
gear sets before each prolonged period of running, in line with Xtrac’s
general maintenance guidelines.
