Cleaning
Gently wipe away dust on Tango and its grille with a dry, soft lint-free cloth.
Do not use any cleaners, sprays, or chemicals.!
Removing a Universal Dock Adapter
To remove an insert from the Dock, use your fingernail in the slot in the back
of the adapter.
Remote Control Battery replacement
Type: CR2025 3-Volt Lithium battery
How: Press the release latch for battery
drawer at bottom of the remote.
Pull out battery drawer and lift battery out.
Troubleshooting
Problem: No sound
Make sure your iPod is firmly seated in the Universal Dock well.
Make sure iPod is on and playing audio content
Make sure the power cable is plugged into the back of Tango and into
a working outlet
Undock your iPod, wait 5 seconds, and replace it in the dock.
Reset Tango: Unplug the power cable, wait 60 seconds, and then
plug it back in.
Be sure your iPod is running the latest version of the iPod software.*
iPod isnt docking correctly
Make sure the Universal Dock Adapter is the correct one for your iPod **
Tango does not respond to the remote control
Tango has an LED behind the speaker grill that will glow when it receives
the remote signal.
If the LED does not glow:
Make sure no solid objects block Tango’s speaker grille
Replace the remote control battery.
If the LED does glow:
Undock your iPod, wait 5 seconds, and replace it in the dock.
Be sure your iPod is running the latest version of the iPod software.*
Reset Tango: Unplug the power cable, wait 60 seconds, and then plug it
back in.
*Visit http://www.apple.com/support/ to download the latest software for
your iPod.
**Adapters are included for the iPod nano, and iPod with video (30GB and
60GB). Additional Universal Dock Adapters are available from Apple.
