Emergency opening from the outside (auxiliary battery)
If the batteries run out despite caution and warnings, the
product can be activated with a 9-volt battery. Hold the
battery against the terminals located on the underside of the
unit and use a registered tag or code.
Emergency opening from the inside
Yale Doorman L3 can be opened with the inside handle’s
button even if there are no batteries installed in the product.
