DESCRIPTION BEHAVIOR
The device, as indicated by node, has reported
an internal (non-serviceable) failure of it's circuit
For Traction, parking brake will drop, all functions
stop. For Pump, motor will stop, hydraulics disabled.
Dash has no effect.
Probable Causes and Test Procedures
1. Are there any other codes than 65280, specifically those relating to power?
YES- Troubleshoot those codes first, before addressing 65280.
NO- Proceed to step 2.
2. Check all controller connector pins / connections. Are there any opens / shorts?
YES- Repair faulty wire(s) / pin(s) / etc.
NO- Proceed to step 3.
3. Reprogram controller:
a. Obtain software update package from Service Engineering.
b. Reprogram device reporting 65280.
c. When programming successful, does error code 65280 persist?
YES- Controller at fault, non-serviceable, replace controller. Contact Service Engineering.
NO- Ensure parameters correct, return to service.
Refer to Diagrams section for given controller node indicated.
