DESCRIPTION BEHAVIOR
Battery Voltage (B+) is over or under voltage
from nominal - (RH Node 3)
No truck operation at startup. During operation,
functions are stopped.
Probable Causes and Test Procedures
1. Verify a proper battery (36V Nominal) is connected to the truck
a. Does the battery label indicate 36 Volts DC nominal, and is the proper A/hr rating?
b. Has the battery charger been disconnected from the truck?
YES- Proceed to step 2.
NO- Disconnect charger or replace with correct battery.
2. Measure actual battery voltage.
a. Does battery voltage measure > 35V DC?
YES- Proceed to step 3.
NO- Charge or change the battery.
3. Check high current power cables:
a. Check continuity from B− battery connector to B− stud.
b. Check continuity from B+ battery connector to POS line contactor lead.
YES- Tighten loose bolts / connections, retest truck.
NO- Repair wiring / crimp terminal / stud as necessary to regain continuity.
