Outboard Rigging Guide - 2001 Fuel Management Gauge
Wiring
1. The green and green/white wires on the fuel
management gauge are for engine synchro-
nization and are connected to the tachome-
ter(s). On single engine installations, the
green/white wire will not be used.
2. The black and white/red wires on the flow
sensor harness are for the optional fuel/water
separator warning.
Rigging Notes:
Refer to the wiring diagram on the following page
for proper wire connections.
1. Connect the 6-pin extension harness to the
matching connector on the back of the
Management Gauge.
2. Now connect the following wires:
R - (Red)
12 volt POSITIVE Battery source
G = (Green)
To the G (Green) wire from the
Multifunction “STBD” Tachometer
G/W = (Green/White)
To the G (Green) wire from the PORT
Multifunction Tachometer (on twin-engine
installations)
B = (Black)
Connect both black wires to a good ground
L = (Blue)
Connect to the (Blue) wire from the multi-
function speedometer light circuit
Y = (Yellow)
Connect this wire and the (Yellow) wire to
the multifunction speedometer to the same
KEY ON POWER source.
NOTE: Be sure that both the fuel management
system and speedometer yellow wires are con-
nected to the same power source and are activat-
ed at the same time.
3. Connect the 3-wire plug at the sensor side of
the harness to the sensor. The GREEN taped
lead will attach to this starboard flow sensor.
In the case of twin-engine applications, the
RED taped lead will attach to the port sensor.
