Outboard Rigging Guide - 2001 Steering Attachment Kits
Installation
1. Remove and discard the caps from both ends
of the hollow steering/tilt tube.
2. Route the steering cable through the
steering/tilt tube and attach the cable to the
tube with the securing nut that is on the steer-
ing cable.
3. Fit the O-ring and cap nut on the other end of
the steering/tilt tube.
NOTE:The O-ring and cap mentioned above
serve to keep inside the hollow steering/tilt tube
and water outside the tube.
Attach the steering link rod assembly to the steer-
ing hook and steering cable as shown:
