What to do if my Bluetooth-equipped smart device cannot be paired with nor connected to the Yamaha Clavinova CLP-765GP Musical Instrument?
    • S
      Shawn PriceSep 18, 2025
First, check the Bluetooth function of the smart device is activated. The smart device and the instrument need to be paired so that the instrument receives audio data from the smart device via Bluetooth. In case there is a device (microwave oven, wireless LAN device, etc.) that outputs signals in the 2.4 GHz frequency band nearby, move this instrument away from the device that is emitting radio-frequency signals.

    • P
      phillipsandrewSep 12, 2025
Switching to Dual/Split/Duo mode in the middle of the Song is not recorded. Also, the recording part for the Voice 2 (Dual mode) or the left Voice (Split/Duo mode) is automatically assigned. If the assigned part already has data, the data will be overwritten and deleted when you record.

The “Language” setting may be different than that is selected when you named the Song. Why is the overall volume low or no sound heard on my Yamaha Clavinova CLP-765GP Musical Instrument?
    • R
      Ronald NolanAug 21, 2025
There could be several reasons for low or no sound. The Master Volume might be set too low; adjust it to an appropriate level using the [MASTER VOLUME] slider. The keyboard performance volume might be too low; adjust the volume balance via the “Song” menu display: “Volume” ? “Song - Keyboard”. If headphones or adaptor plugs are connected when the Speaker setting is “Normal,” disconnect them. Also, check if the Speaker setting is “Off” and set it to “Normal” via the “System” menu display: “Utility” ? “Speaker”. Finally, ensure that Local Control is “On” via the “System” menu display: “MIDI” ? “Local Control”.
